After months, and months and months of speculation, anticipation, and leaks, the adidas YEEZY 350 v3 is finally on the way. After the silhouette was previewed in production last month in its “Alien” colorway, it now appears that an accompanying Black edition will be joining the white-based pair on debut.
The pair, which has been in works for years, arrives with a completely overhauled silhouette. Sleeker, higher-cut and an all-new woven pattern make the silhouette distinctly different from is predecessors. While full-length BOOST cushioning tech remains, the shape of the sole unit remains similar but more in-line with a jogger; it’s less bulbous, higher cut in the rear and features a higher toe rise. The signature exposed BOOST outsole remains, although it too takes on an entirely new pattern. The upper, too. is overhauled, with a high-cut, snug-fit ankle collar, and an all-new textured weave, which appears tighter than previous 350 versions. Translucent panels still hit the shoe’s vamp, but it’s now thicker, shorter and abstract in shape. The sneaker’s added height also adds in an extra two lace loops.
Arriving in tonal shades of blacks and greys throughout, with stark white BOOST cushioning draped in translucent black midsoles and solid rubber outsole. The upper sports the same terrain-like print on its weave, ranging from jet blacks to dark and light greys. Scheduled to make its debut by the end of the year, the YEEZY BOOST 350 V3 “Black” is expected to retail for $230.
