I miss the old Kanye.
Over 4 years ago now, the Nike Air Yeezy 2 “Red October” instantly engrained itself into sneakerhead culture as one of the most hyped -up, sought after releases. And it still is to this day.
And we could be getting more, with news today that Kanye West has officially applied for “Red October” trademark.
According to TMZ, “Red October” was originally applied for in 2013, but never went through due to the paperwork being incomplete. 5 years later, Kanye is once again filling to own the name “Red October” so he can use the name on upcoming products and future adidas Yeezy releases.
We’re not expecting this to pass, if Nike have anything to say about it. But it does mean that Ye could possibly be releasing some all-red sneakers in the near future.
If only they were the OG’s. . .
