YEEZY 700 V1 “Wave Runner” Restock Arriving in August

Despite the fact that there are hundreds upon hundreds of YEEZYsamples from over the years, the brand often looks back to its fan favorites for future releases. The frequent restocks may be a part of Ye’s wider “YEEZYs for everyone” promise, with classics like the YEEZY 350 v2 “Zebra”and YEEZY 700 “Wave Runner” amongst the most revisited. With the former returning late last year, it’s now time again for the latter to rear its head up, with word of its inclusion in August’s YEEZY DAY drops.

The return will mark the sneaker’s fourth retail release since its 2017 debut, with re-ups in 2018, and 2019. This year’s pair will again be a straight 1:1 reissue, though it remains to be seen if these will retain their original $300 price point, or if they will align with the new $240 MSRP.

Fresh info from YEEZY Mafia has placed the pair for an August 2021 release, though a specific date won’t be confirmed (likely to be on or around the 2nd).
