Yes — Kanye West’s YEEZY Foam Runner is Actually Releasing

Ever polarizing, Kanye West – and by extension, his YEEZY range — is no stranger to pushing boundaries (and people’s buttons.) But recently, he’s seemingly made it a focus for his brand. With things like his famed — and highly ridiculed — Scuba Shoes, to the Croc-like Foam Runner, he’s drawn some serious lols across social media. but while the fate of the aforementioned Scuba Shoe is still to be decided, the Foam Runner looks like it’s been given the go-ahead.

Yes, you read that right.

The clog-like shoe was originally spotted on the feet of Ye’s daughter North earlier this year, but now, new photos courtesy of The Face Magazine depict the shoe in greater detail. The molded foam shoe sports no shoelaces — or any moving part whatsoever — making it all the more intriguing. How the hell do you get them on? How do they stay on? And what the hell do you wear with it? These are questions that will surely be answered as we draw closer to the release date, which at this stage is said to be “2020” — and knowing Ye (we’re still waiting on Yhandi…) cit could be any time within the next 18 months.
