These colors remind us of some 90’s sports bombers.

Yesterday we got a detailed look in at the “Olive” colorway of the Air Jordan 9 Sneakerboot – but today Nike designer Frank Cooker got me a even more interested with this fresh 90’s-inspired colorway of the Air Jordan 9 adaptation.

We already know that we’re getting a Black/Gum pair and now we get a first look at this colorful iteration. Shared by Frank Cooker, this boot-inspired Air Jordan of the boots, but this one came from left field.

In Frank’s post he shared, “The cool thing about working through a winterized update to an iconic silhouette like the AJ IX is that the team can have a little fun with color blocking. It gives us a visual to work off of to see what works and what doesn’t work.”

    And this sample definitely works.

There’s no word on a release date yet – if at all – but should anything develop, we’ll be sure to keep ypu in the loop right here on the House of Heat.
