A BATHING APE® continues to find the proper collaborators to help reaffirm its status as a juggernaut within the world of street style. For its latest project, the Asian institution has teamed up with faceless brand HIDDEN® to rework the iconic BAPE STA™ sneaker and other items.
Throughout its history, the Instagram-moodboard-turned-full-fledged-label has covered BAPE® for its pioneering role in the world of streetwear. Thus, the multi-item seasonal drop with the brand is a full-circle moment for HIDDEN®. Apparel and accessories that accompany the aforementioned BAPE STA™ opt for an expected rich green-accented makeover, a signature touch from the New York City-based imprint. A camo-covered sweatsuit, graphic t-shirts, and trucker hat all feature "h" branding that denotes the collaborative nature of the items.
The BAPE STA™ abandons any use of patent leather in favor of clean, high-quality makeovers. One style opts for a white-on-white ensemble reminiscent of the ever-popular Nike Air Force 1, while the second pair sees a soft brown suede take over most of the upper.
