adidas are pushing the POD to be their new #1

Boost is back. In POD form.

Sightings of adidas’ newest silhouette, the POD-S3.1, have dated way back to January – but there’s still no word on the impending release. But with fresh images hitting the gram yesterday, we’re expecting a release to be right around the corner.

It arrives with adidas’ futuristic-fresh vibe; a mesh upper rising above a foam forefoot and everybody’s favorite BOOST hits the heel cushioning, reminding us of the chunky-ass Prophere.

Feedback from the community is positive toward the POD-S3.1, a lot more accepted than it’s Prophere counterpart. Many are waiting to see a full lineup of releases before making their mind up – but from this freshly baked Salmon pair from Sneaker Prophet, we’re saying the tree-stripe are onto a winner .

FYI – we’re still waiting for an official word on the silhouette’s release. We’ll keep you in the loop – but keep your eyes on adidas.com over the next few days.
