adidas adiFOM Superstar “Triple Black” Releases March 3

Over the last 18 months, slip-on foam shoes have been one of the biggest trends in footwear, with many brands, including Jordan and New Balance, jumping on the clog bandwagon. Despite the controversy, adidas continued its collection, the latest being the adidas adiFOM Superstar, which also takes inspiration from the brand’s extensive past but in a less obscure way than its predecessor.

Ditching the lacing system and extending the shell toe all the way up to the ankle, the exoskeleton frame of the shoe is — pardon the pun — a shell of it’s inspiring sneaker. Still, the shapeless slipper seems to harness the OG with precision, thanks to strategically placed Three Stripe and heel paintwork — this time in a black-on-black arrangement.
