Despite an initial hard-to-get launch process, the Adizero EVO SL by Adidas Running has overtaken the sport. Its price-for-value proposal has won countless runners over, while also encouraging others to log some miles for the first time since Physical Education classes. Throughout summer, the model is expected in handfuls of different styles—including a leopard print-donning one.
Akin to previous animal-inspired takes from the Three Stripes, the EVO SL features an all-over print across its lightweight upper. "Preloved Brown" recreates the wild, big cat fur on the Adizero franchise's beloved offering. Profile 3-Stripes deviate from their fast surroundings in an equally-eye-catching "Iron Metallic" finish. Elsewhere, "Lucid Blue" animates Achilles' heel panels and laces.
Underfoot, the same LIGHTSTRIKE PRO midsole found in the experimental Prime X 3.0 Strung keeps its classic off-white color scheme intact. The tried-and-proven Continental rubber outsole provides decent coverage in a two-tone color scheme that ties back to the upper's leopard-inspired ensemble.
