Adidas Basketball took center stage during NBA All-Star Weekend 2025, celebrating its legacy while showcasing its vision for the future of the game. From Damian Lillard’s return to Oakland to the unveiling of major new releases, the Three Stripes dominated the weekend with events, activations, and star-studded moments.

The festivities began with Damian Lillard’s homecoming at Oakland High School, where he spent the day inspiring students and athletes in his hometown. The event featured a special school assembly, a Senior Night celebration, and live performances from Bay Area artists Kamaiyah, 310babii, and John Mackk. Lillard’s return served as a tribute to his roots and a reminder of his ongoing commitment to the Oakland community.

The following evening, adidas Basketball hosted an exclusive Superstar Party in San Francisco, bringing together top athletes, entertainers, and cultural icons. Saweetie, GloRilla, Brent Faiyez, and Murda Beatz joined the celebration alongside adidas athletes Anthony Edwards, James Harden, Candace Parker, and Jalen Williams. The event honored the adidas Superstar sneaker, recognizing its impact on basketball and street culture. In a special moment, Lillard was presented with the new A-TYPE adidas Superstar, a modern evolution of the classic silhouette that continues to shape sport and fashion.

Throughout the weekend, adidas made waves with the release of four major basketball shoes, each combining innovation and performance. The Dame X, Damian Lillard’s latest signature shoe, was built for precision and power. Donovan Mitchell’s newest sneaker, the D.O.N. Issue #7, was designed for his high-energy style of play. The Anthony Edwards 1 "Pre-Loved Lime" debuted in a bold colorway for one of the league’s most electrifying young stars, while James Harden’s Harden Vol. 9 "Dynamo" delivered a striking edition engineered for agility and control.

Anthony Edwards stole the spotlight, rolling through San Francisco in a custom peach-colored trolley, bringing his infectious energy to the city. His "Believe That" event at Foot Locker gave fans an up-close experience with the rising star, as he recreated his viral lie detector test to the delight of the crowd.

On Saturday, adidas athletes dominated the NBA’s All-Star events. Evan Mobley and Donovan Mitchell won the Skills Challenge, while six adidas athletes—Damian Lillard, Anthony Edwards, James Harden, Donovan Mitchell, Jalen Williams, and Evan Mobley—competed in the NBA All-Star Game, reinforcing the brand’s influence on the league’s biggest stage.

The brand also introduced "You Got This," a new campaign celebrating the joy of basketball and encouraging athletes to embrace the game without pressure.

As NBA All-Star Weekend 2025 came to a close, adidas Basketball solidified its presence in the sport, blending legacy with innovation. From new footwear to unforgettable events, the Three Stripes proved once again why it remains a dominant force in basketball culture.
