Following on from our first report in October, the adidas Hoops “Forbidden City” has finally surfaced. The Chinese New Year pack consists of a D Rose 1, Harden Vol. 4, Pro Model 2G and Dame 6, all of which retain a consistent set of design cues. Here, colors are limited to black, metallic gold, red and white, with traditional floral prints anchored in blues. All pairs opt for a predominately black upper, and sole units that utilize a combo of black, white and/or red. The aforementioned prints arrive on the pair’s liners, except the Dame 6, which features it on both the heel and lateral panel. Metallic gold finishes are splayed throughout each pair, and all four editions come complete with red insoles.
