If you’re a Damian Lillard fan, you’ll know he’s a WWE freak — and in wrestling, there’s no bigger name for Dame than Stone Cold Steve Austin — hell, he even arrived to an NBA matchup dressed at the wrestling superstar for Halloween back in 2018:
On this special-edition Gradeschool release, Dame pays tribute to the wrestling great with a colorway that mimics the champs duds. All-black uppers represent SCSA’s staple T-Shirt, while hits of blue channel the Texan’s penchant for denim Jorts. Metallic gold accents symbolize his career 19 titles and the most obvious callout comes on the medial heel midsole, reading “DAME 3:16” in bold black lettering. There’s also special skull-graphic insoles and faux snakeskin medial panels that tribute his Texas Rattlesnake nickname.
