Bristol Studio Unveil their adidas Crazy BYW Collection

Los Angeles based brand Bristol Studio have just dropped official looks at their newest collaboration with adidas Originals, aptly named ‘Sharp Shooters’

The campaign, which stars musician Buddy, serves as a tribute an to the heavy Basketball influence on the collection, which includes both footwear and apparel. For the second prat of the two brand’s relationship, the designs, led by Luke Tadashi draw on hoops heritage, bringing a old-school drip to the hardwood.

The collection’s footwear utilizes takes the form of a the Crazy BYW, both in High and Low editions, which was inspired in part by the Kobe Bryant KB8 signature shoe, which was later reborn as the Crazy 8. The Bristol Crazy BYW features a blend of premium nubuck, leathers and tech-loaded wovens. Speaking of tech, the BOOST midsole provides light weight comfort and incredible support, with the outsole shaped like hoop shoes from early last decade, paying homage to adidas’ past.

The accompanying apparel is also heavily tied to adidas basketball history. The Tearaway Pant, Warm Up Track Top and Shooting Tee are staples of the game, but these have been broken down to the absolute minimum, reflecting the brand’s minimalist approach. Each item is rendered in tonal shades of light brown, white and onyx, as are the two most game-ready pieces: a basketball jersey with Bristol Studio logo and a pair of loose-fitting, co-branded shorts.
