Despite the continued success of its Originals business, Adidas keeps innovating for sport, delivering refreshing takes on performance, training, and recovery equipment. Last year, the brand introduced the Climacool24, a 3D-printed slip-on unlike most other products on the market. Ahead of summer, it's developed the Climacool25 in hopes of dominating the comfortable, laceless footwear market in an innovative way.
Built on the same principles with which its Climacool® technology debuted in the early 2000s, the 3D-printed footwear design delivers unparalleled breathability in a lightweight package. As with performance apparel, the Climacool25 utilizes breakthrough material that provides 360 degree airflow and moisture-wicking, resulting in an optimal climate inside the shoe. The laceless model, however, accomplishes this through its multi-dimensional lattice configuration, which has appeared on previous Adidas 4D projects. Its configuration has drawn inspiration from additive design architecture, with the Climacool25 conforming to the wearer's foot shape and gait.
Although the brand's full plans for the model are currently under wraps, new imagery of a pair in 'Off White/Light Brown' has recently surfaced. The photos showcase the same build with which the design's predecessor launched in November 2024. The iconic 3-Stripes branding on the lateral side, however, opts for shades of 'Light Brown,' forgoing the tonal finish of the inaugural pair.
Enjoy detailed shots of the latest 3D-printed offering from the Three Stripes below. Expect pairs in limited quantities arrive via Adidas.com throughout summer for $140.
Away from the German sportswear giant, Nike is set to reissue the 'Neon' Air Max 95 Big Bubble soon.
