Adidas continues to pay tribute to the legendary Kobe Bryant in 2024, extending his legacy through inspired iterations of his first signature shoe. The latest homage comes in the form of a Los Angeles Dodgers-themed adidas Crazy 8, a nod to Bryant's enduring connection with the city's beloved MLB team.

Kobe Bryant's relationship with the Dodgers flourished shortly after he arrived in Los Angeles, a bond that extended well beyond his illustrious career with the Lakers. From participating in free-agent pitches to being a familiar face in the stands during the World Series, Bryant's affinity for the Dodgers was unmistakable. It's fitting, then, that this connection is immortalized in the design of the adidas Crazy 8, a silhouette as iconic to the basketball world as Bryant himself was to the sports universe at large.

Drawing inspiration from the Dodgers' road jerseys, the sneaker is cloaked in a palette of muted neutral suede, echoing the understated elegance of the team's uniforms. The signature Los Angeles Dodgers blue emanates from the tongue, weaving through the adidas Three Stripes branding and extending into the midsole, infusing the shoe with a vibrant burst of color. A contrasting red adidas spell-out logo at the rear completes the design, adding a layer of visual interest to the homage.

Set to release on March 31st, the Adidas Crazy 8 "Dodgers" will be available in adult sizing for $150 and kids sizing for $120.
