adidas to Release Timely “Be Humble” DON Issue 1 for Donovan Mitchell

Be humble. Donovan Mitchell’s mantra would be more relevant right now than at any other time of his life, having just been diagnosed with coronavirus. Frankly, he should be OK, but still, having such a scary thing happen to you in the prime of your life is one hell of a humbling experience. A timely release, this adidas DON Issue #1 “Be Humble” reinforces that message.

Regardless of the associations, this pair is one of Mitchell’s hardest yet. Featuring a Jazz-conscious navy, green and gold makeup, the pair pops it’s predominately blue upper with vivid strokes of golden yellow at the vamp and tongue, and green tiger camo at the quarter. Green liners complement the latter, whiles an ominous navy midsole sets the stage for the glorious gum rubber outsole to truly shine. Capping off the design are flecked flat laces, and a “Be Humble”-branded tag on the lateral in place of the standard “ISSUE 1”.
