OG Post 10.15.19 // The off-season has been a big one for adidas athlete Donovan Mitchell and his debut DON Issue 1. From Karl “Mailman” Malone themed colorways to Asian-exclusives, the silhouette has been on a tear in its three short months at retail. With a plethora of colorways already under the belt, it should come as no surprise that Donovan has a few more in store for the NBA season start — and this seasonal black and orange offering is tipped to arrive right on time for the spooky season. Said to show up on shelves as early as next week, this “Halloween” adidas DON Issue 1 captures the holiday with purpose. The two-tone silhouette pairs orange Primeknit at the toe with black in the boot, black midsoles, translucent midfoot overlays, and black tongues. Orange appears again on the liners, laces, and outsole, with Mitchell’s Spider stamp on the tongue — unintentionally — a perfect fit for the eerie theme.
