Fear Of God Athletics Applies A "Lemonade" Look to the Basketball II
Jerry Lorenzo's Fear of God Athletics partnership with Adidas has quietly been launching products for the modern athlete rooted in heritage. Its latest effort reimagines the Basketball II silhouette with a summer-friendly "Lemonade" finish.
Previewed by the Los Angeles Lakers' Gabriel Nnamdi Vincent, the pair follows in the footsteps of "Night Brown," "Ash Pearl," and other previous releases with its mostly-tonal makeup. The breathable, form-fitting upper features a pastel-colored yellow, with the midsole's outer shell opting for a bolder shade of the "Lemonade" tone. The license plate at the heel interrupts the bright outfit in black, but most other components stay on theme.
Firm Adidas.com release details haven't been disclosed by either party involved, but Vincent's preview shares that the next Basketball II is expected before autumn arrives.
