adidas Futurecraft Finds its Way to the $600 Y-3 Runner 4D II

adidas Futurecraft Finds its Way to the $600 Y-3 Runner 4D II

That’s $300 per shoe 🤯

adidas’ two distinct paths of ultra-futuristic and heritage-inspired design ethos have seen their newest wave of tech— their 3D-printed Futurecraft — paired with throwback-themed uppers, like that of the recently revealed ZX 4000 4D. But while that release harkened back to the good ol’ days, this next Y-3 Runner 4D II is as futuristic as it gets.

The pair arrives mostly in shades of white, filling the Primeknit upper to the brim, but it is paired with a light bone suede at the midfoot. Stark black contrasting accents arrive around the sock liner, and down the tongue to form an iconic Three Stripe motif before arriving at the signature of collaborator Yohji Yamamoto. For a final touch, the Futurecraft’s Ash Green midsole has been revoked in favor of an aged-look cream — the only hint of nostalgia on the pair.

Take a look at the official campaign and product shots below, and expect these $600 sneakers to hit select Trefoil stockists like SNS and directly from on May 1st.
