The Adidas Gazelle Indoor has long been revered for its streamlined profile and versatile design. As the year unfolds, this enduring classic has not only been part of a high-profile collaboration with Gucci. Still, it has also taken center stage in Sean Wotherspoon's recent partnership with adidas. Now, as we head into the latter part of the year, the Gazelle Indoor is making waves with new ensembles that fuse bold, heritage-inspired aesthetics with a contemporary edge.

Deviating from traditional dual color blocking, the latest iterations venture into more exploratory territory with their color palette. The "Off White/Alumina/Preloved Yellow" and "Crew Navy/Gold Metallic/Off White" mixes present a refreshing approach to seasonal footwear, avoiding the trap of monochromatic winter drabness. These models retain the Gazelle's much-loved suede upper, ensuring the texture and luxury feel remains intact.

What sets these new releases apart are the considered contrasts. The protective "T" toe overlay and the panels along the tongue add depth against their suede backdrops, reminiscent of the beloved adidas Samba's defining features. The side panels boast the "Gazelle" text, a subtle yet powerful reminder of the shoe's identity, complemented by the trefoil branding on the heel panel.

The translucent cup soles are where function meets fashion. Designed for enhanced grip on indoor surfaces, they also elevate the shoe's overall aesthetic, making it a perfect match for the style-conscious who don't want to compromise on practicality.

Both sneakers are already available in Australia at retailers like Up There, but those of us across the Pacific will have to wait a little while before these hit Stateside shelves.
