The Ultra-Rare adidas Gil Zero “UNDRCRWN” Returns This Month

There has been no better time than now for adidas to bring back Agent Zero’s signature adidas sneaker. Gilbert Arenas’ recent rise to the top of NBA analysts through his zero-filter analysis of players and the game, brings a refreshing and often comedic voice to the world of basketball — but if you’ve followed Gil since day zero, then you’d know all about his persona, No Chill Gil. Those who didn’t get to watch Arenas play missed out on seeing one of the most entertaining players of the 2000s. They also missed out on his signature adidas footwear drops — but not for long. Yes, that’s right, adidas are bringing back the Gil Zero this month, and they’re kicking things off with one of the rarest releases from Agent Zero’s back catalog, the adidas Gil Zero “UNDRCRWN”

The pair first dropped the shoe back in 2007 as one of five adidas signature shoes to be part of the super-limited 90’s inspired “Remix Collection” designed by streetwear brand UNDRCRWN. Just three years later, adidas terminated its contract with Arenas after the athlete pled guilty to a felony gun charge, but now, with Arenas back in a positive light, it appears that their partnership is back on track.

Only 750 pairs of theadidas Gil Zero “UNDRCRWN” were released, so those who missed out on the first run (which is like, all of us) will finally get their chance at owning a pair in 2022. Grab a first look at the Restomod reissue here below, and look for these to land at select Three Stripe stockists like Foot Locker and adidas.com come January 27th for $140.
