Giannis coming in hot, tho.
adidas are risking it all — again.
Just as they did ahead of last year’s official MVP announcement, the Three Stripes has already dished up a celebratory MVP edition of the Harden Vol. 3. Last year was a lock, but this year it’s a hella risky move by the German-based brand, with Giannis storming home late to really put 2019’s MVP award into question.
Unless they know something we don’t.
The sneaker in question rocks a black mesh toe box paired with glazed-on yellow detail on the remaining portion of the upper, featuring hazard motifs, icons, and typography. Bold red midfoot straps add a striking juxtaposition to the colorway, while the MVP branding on the midsole suggests that ol’ James has the award locked up for the second year running.
But, if they’re wrong, it’s an inexpensive task to swap out the sole. But we’ll all know what they were really made for . . .
As of now, a release date for the adidas Harden Vol. 3 “MVP” has yet to be announced, but last year’s model became available late June during the NBA Awards ceremony, so stay tuned for more!
