The adidas LXCON is Lookin’ Mean in Black ‘n’ Green

The adidas LXCON is totally focused on lifestyle, designed to aesthetically please the eye while keeping your comfort level at an all-time high. It is yet another of adi’s heritage-inspired sneakers, that is currently dominating the Trefoil’s catalog of creps. The next pair on offer keep things simplistic, arriving in black and green, And it’s looking mean.

Literally.

Being the Batman fan that I am, I couldn’t help draw the comparison to Gotham City bad-guy Bane. The beefed-up baddie traditionally dons all black, like this new LXCON’s upper, with his facial apparatus forcing the chemical drug Venom into his airways via a series of tubes — visually similar to this LXCON’s semi-translucent piping.

Aside from the green tubing, the sneaker’s upper arrives in all-black, including tonal black branding glazed over the tongue. The only other splash of contrast arrives from the adiprene midsole, showing up in a mid-grey.
