Adidas is set to roll out a bold new era of performance sneakers with the upcoming launch of the Mega X—one of the first silhouettes in the new Megaride line. Before its wide release, an ultra-limited sample run of just 60 pairs has surfaced credits to arab_lincoln, giving a preview of what’s to come.

The debut edition arrives in a tonal mix of silver-grey hues, blending glossy TPU overlays and open mesh layers across the upper. Signature Three Stripe branding takes on a sleek, vertical stance, while sharp paneling and toe cap accents contribute to its aggressive build. But the real highlight lies underfoot: a new midsole system featuring exaggerated pods and cutouts that double as cushioning and a design statement. Cream-tinted foam runs through the core of the sole, offering a break in tone and adding dimension to the structure.

Golden adidas branding appears subtly on the tongue and heel, a nod to its rarity and sample status. The outsole continues the tech-driven story with multi-directional grip and a striking yellow core that anchors the shoe’s futuristic shape.

As the Megaride series prepares for a broader rollout, the adidas Mega X gives us a glimpse of the design ethos behind the line—angular, breathable, and purpose-built for style and performance.

A release date for the general release Mega X has not yet been announced, but expect more details to emerge soon as adidas readies the Megaride line for the spotlight.
