    It took adidas a long, long time to add colored BOOST midsoles to their silhouettes. Bar black or white, a colored-in midsole was a rarity for the cushioning tech in its four years prior to 2019. But now, finally, the Three Stripes is listening. This all-new “Glow Blue” adidas Nite Jogger is just one of many color-coated BOOST options to hit the market this year — and with them looking this good, it makes you wonder why the Trefoil didn’t do it sooner.

    The pair stays pretty simple up-top, rocking out in tonal grays; the light bone upper sports a silky nylon weave, supple bone suede overlays all over, and the darkest shades come on the reflective glazes at the toe, heel, and ankle. Both light and mid grey appear on the rubber outsole, along with a splash of deep royal blue — a color also found on the shoe’s liner. But championing the pair is the Glow Blue painted BOOST midsole — an eye catcher from any angle.
