It’s been a little quiet on the Ozweego front of late, but this next edition is definitely loud enough to command your attention. A first look a redesigned adidas Ozweego Celox has appeared, and it quite clearly borrows some design language from the brand’s neighboring YEEZY lineage.
While its overall shape is similar to 2019’s reincarnation, the Ozweego Celox features a slew of new features. Striking neon yellow forefoot shells come complete with cut-outs that evoke an association with the infamous YEEZY Foam Runners, while popping orange mesh unders connected the colorway back to the motocross-inspired debut colorways of the YEEZY MNVN. Tongues and rear booties arrive in suede, and it comes equipped with a brand-new wrap-around heel pull stylized in a modern athletic aesthetic. Overall, it looks like a freshly-painted jet-ski, especially riding atop that translucent-green rubber outsole. Completing the design is technical text down the tongue, off-center Trefoil branding at the throat, and classic adidas logos just forward of the lateral ankle.
Though an official release date for the adidas Ozweego Celox is yet to be unveiled, you should expect to see its debut soon — after all, we’re only weeks away from the new calendar year.
