Detailed Looks at the adidas x Pokemon Campus Collaboration

A wild Campus appears!

adidas are seemingly looking to partner up with every iconic pop-culture TV-series in an effort to expand their market, with these pairs of Pokemon Campus’ surfacing online this week. It follows on from yesterday’s Game of Thrones x adidas Ultra BOOST capsule, a Beavis and Butthead collab and last year’s Dragonball Z collection.

These first images reveal the Campus silhouette dressed in two editions, Pikachu and Squirtle, each adorning a colorfully embroidered etching on the instep, while grey outlines of the characters drape the entire leather uppers. The co-branded tongue labels, color-coordinated with the characters, all but confirms this upcoming collection that likely includes other models and/or key characters of the franchise.

With Detective Pikachu is set to hit theaters on May 10th, we’re expecting a release to coincide. Stay tuned for more details!
