The adidas Powerphase Returns in Two Heritage Colorways

A new phase for the Powerphase.

In a clear case of leveraging an identity to revive a silhouette, adidas’ Powerpahse has regained notoriety thanks to the laziest Kanye collab we’ve ever seen. Back in March of 2017, the YEEZY brand slapped on some Calabasis branding to the lateral side of the traditional tennis sneaker — and that was it. Lazy, sure. Unimaginative? Absolutely. But it definitely served its purpose, bringing the 80’s outfit back into the spotlight.

And now, adidas are bringing back the original back, complete with “Powerphase” branding back where it belongs. Two vintage-colored pairs kick off the comeback, both options sure to please any old and new adi-head alike. A classic Cloud White and Sail arrives, as well as a creamy Ecru Tint version, each equipped with OG debossed branding, perforated toe caps and laterals, and minimal stitched-branding.
