Love is in the air this November, and adidas isn’t being shy about it. The annual love-fest that is Singles’ Day sees a flurry of Jordan Brand and Nike releases throughout China, like this year’s Air Jordan 5and Air Jordan 13 combo, and now adidas join the chat with a loved-up edition take on the Rivalry Low. Like the aforementioned Jordans, it too arrives in a vibrant shade of blue-green, with the suede upper rocking a watercolor-like effect over its entirety. The romance comes into play on the decorative gold foil heart motif just below the upper eyelets, while the Three Stripe let you know that love is in fact in the air with a decorative debossed wind gust on the heel’s lateral side and on the top of the toe box. Milky translucent sole unit adds to the pair’s intrigue, and gold accents return along the eyelets, heel Trefoil hit and the tongue’s Mandarin motif that reads 中口 translating to Zhongkou — a central province on the Island of Hainan, China. Why it’s on the sneaker’s tongue is still a mystery, but we’re hoping adidas iron that one out over the coming days. As for a release for this Rivalry Low, you can mark your calendars for November 11th, which also happens to be Singles’ Day in the Asian nation.

An accompanying high-cut Rivalry has just surfaced, and it too features many of the same details as the low, with the key difference being a smooth white leather base.
