As the brand's oldest silhouette in continuous production, the Adidas Samba has lived many lives since its debut in 1949. Although its inline black-and-white styles continue to be amongst the most popular, limited collaborations have energized the design, joining countless wishlists in the process. JJJJound's Made in Germany makeover from March 2024 might've inspired the trainer's latest look.
Officially clad in a "Core Black/Footwear White/Timber" color scheme, the newly-surfaced Samba indulges in a classic presentation that sees an understated base contrasted by lighter accents. Several details across the sneaker, however, stand out from the standard "Core Black/Cloud White/Gum" pair.
Contrast stitching across the upper breaks up the predominantly leather build. Samba text on the lateral profile opts for a golden touch, while the tongue indulges in an all-white akin to JJJJound's cream-colored update. The Achilles' heel underlay keeps things stealthy in black, deviating from the rich brown seen throughout inner lining. Underfoot, the old school sole unit retains its most classic look.
