The "sneakerina" trend is officially blooming for 2026. Following the silhouette’s successful debut in mid-2025, Adidas is leaning further into the balletcore aesthetic with a new two-pair "Frill" pack of the Samba Jane.
Designed to capture the intersection of sporty heritage and high-fashion femininity, the upcoming duo swaps the standard silhouette's sleek lines for delicate ruffled detailing. The first pair features a classic "Cloud White" leather base accented by "Core Black" stripes and a textured frill trim along the collar, paired with a semi-translucent iced sole. Its counterpart opts for a softer palette, leading with cream tones and mauve-pink accents, finished with a traditional gum rubber outsole.
Delicate Details
True to the Samba Jane's identity, the pack maintains the iconic T-toe suede overlays and low-profile terrace sole while introducing artisanal flourishes:
- Ruffled Trim: A soft, pleated fabric lines the opening of the shoe, offering a ruffled "scrunchie" effect that mirrors recent trends in luxury women's footwear.
- Jeweled Branding: The traditional heel tab is replaced with a metallic heart-shaped Trefoil charm, adding a jewelry-like finish to the rear.
- Velcro Refinement: The lace-less design continues with a single midfoot strap, now updated with premium gold Trefoil hardware on the mauve-accented pair.

While firm release details for this "Frilly" pack are still under wraps, the timing suggests a Spring/Summer 2026 arrival on Adidas.com.
