Available Now // The adidas Streetball Returns in Classic Wheat/Gum Colorway

After a stellar debut earlier this year, the reworked Streetballl silhouette has kind stalled a little. Perhaps it was the delayed gap between the silhouette first and second round of colorways, or perhaps the brand’s unwillingness to really push the silhouette on social — but it’s not too late for the aggressive silhouette to make waves in 2020. And something as simple as a wheat/gum rendition might just be the catalyst.

The heavily 90s-inspired silhouette sports an on-trend obsession with layering and materials, which is what gives this mostly-tonal take its contrast. Suede, mesh, rubber, and leather all provide a unique finish and individual shade of tan to break things up above the sole. Blow, the midsole seemingly blends into the upper, while a classic light gum rubber outsole is the perfect complement for its lightly-saturated upper.
