The adidas Superstar is days away from closing out its 55th anniversary. Although the silhouette was overshadowed by other models—especially those with marquee names attached—it delivered a plethora of styles to choose from.
Throughout the year, adidas Originals led the charge on celebrating the "shell-toe," tapping the likes of Samuel L. Jackson and Teezo Touchdown to champion the decades-old design. The brand's Skateboarding division, however, also reworked the sneaker, offering numerous takes on the ADV-variant of the Superstar. Before 2026 arrives, the design has emerged in a "Khaki" camouflage ensemble. Soft-colored earth tones take over the bulk of the upper, while pitch-dark takes on profile 3-Stripes, Achilles' heel panels, and inner lining. Shimmering golden finishes appear via branding elements on the lateral side and top-of-the-tongue, while the rubber toe cap and sole unit opt for an off white presentation.
No word on a firm adidas.com release has surfaced as of yet, but that's expected to change soon. In the meantime, enjoy official photos of the Superstar ADV.
