
New York City-based label Willy Chavarria is ready to launch the next installment of its ongoing partnership with adidas Originals.
Titled "Love Prevails," the collection is rooted in ideas of resistance and community, and speaks to the enduring power of choosing love. The man behind the eponymous label styled the lineup's campaign with intention of capturing the collaboration's ethos through model choices, artistic direction, and product execution. Chavarria believes that love is at its strongest when everything is against it.
The "Love Prevails" adidas Originals range includes a handful of premium apparel designs and two fresh takes on the adidas Superstar. The iconic "shell toe" sees its rubber toe cap reworked with a new rose-shaped molding that helps carry out Chavarria's vision. Apparel pieces like bombers, crewnecks, and pinstripe tracksuits complete the collection, donning the designer's signature embroidery and artwork.
