OG Post 12.28.19 // Just as we’re about to get it’s 50th Anniversary celebrations underway, adidas has dropped one hell of a Superstar on us to get the juices flowing.
When heading on down to your local spot for a fresh pair, it’s always a had decision: Black or White? Well, now you don’t need to decide, because the Three Stripes is giving you both, with this two-for-one “Split” Superstar that rocks both colorways. It does, however, take on more cues from the OG white, with lateral panels, outsoles, tongues, liners, and toe caps all arriving in shades of off-white. Heel overlays arrive in the universal black leather, while the medial line arrives made up in black suede. Completing the design is the traditional gold foil tongue embellishment, and alternating profile Three Stripe colors.
