There’s been a mighty resurgence from the category of 80s hoops shoes of late, with classics like the adidas Rivalry and New Balance 550 beginning to provide somewhat of an alternative to the almost unattainable Air Jordan 1 and Nike Dunk drops. Unlike New Balance, whose 550 recently hijacked a handful of classic Air Jordan colorways, adidas has stayed in its own lane. That was until they dropped two Top Ten Lows that were heavily influenced by Air Jordan 1s. This next pair though? Well, it’s a straight rip-off of the ultra-rare SoleFly x Air Jordan 1 — and I’m all for it.
Like the highly-coveted Air Jordan, this option is equipped from tail to toe in black, dark green, and orange patent leathers. Even the blocking is identical, with green toes, heels, and collars met with black mid panels, toe caps, and eyelet overlays. The Three Stripes pop up in vibrant orange, while sole units, too, mimic the Air Jordan collaboration.
Pairs of the adidas Top Ten High “Miami” have already sole out on DTLR, but there are sizes still available here on YCMC for $80
In other retro hoops news, New York designer Eric Emanuel will also be celebrating the event on a special-edition adidas Forum High 84.
