adidas Ultra BOOST 4.0 “Medal Pack” Drops July 1st

Despite unloading most of their Olympic releases during originally scheduled 2020 dates, adidas has shown some restraint for releasing their famed “Medal Pack” of Ultra BOOSTS for the event. Held in their back pocket for the rescheduled event next month, the Three Stripes has unveiled a trio of Ultra BOOST 4.0s that fit the tradition that kicked off back in 2016 for the Rio Olympics. Those, the 2.0, arrived in Gold, Silver, and Bronce, each in black Primeknit bases. For this year, the brand offers up something different, with white, black, and Ice Purple options respectively.

All three feature tonal lace caging, white BOOT midsoles, and black continental rubber outsoles, with heel clips arriving in their respective namesakes. Also differing from the original collection is the matte finish applied to the counters for a less-overt aesthetic.
