Available Now // adidas Ultra BOOST DNA 4.0 “Hazy Pack”

When this three-piece adidas Ultra BOOST DNA 4.0 “Hazy Pack” first appeared on adidas.com earlier this morning, I thought it was a re-up of last year’s “Rainbow Pack”, though a quick check revealed that, while they are eerily similar, they do come with a few subtle tweaks.

Similar to last year’s pack, the Ultra BOOST 4.0 weave, laces, cage overlays, and Continental outsole all return in jet black, while the watercolor-like midsoles return in all of their hazy glory. This year, though we see a return of Blue and Yellow, we get a slight change on the pack’s warmest offering, switching from “Solar Red” to “Hazy Copper” instead. Unlike 2019’s releases, this year’s pack sees branding at the tongue and heel clip colored in their respective hues. Most importantly, 2020’s releases feature Primeblue recycled materials, a big plus for the environment.
