College themes run deep with adidas and their revered Ultra BOOST. During the peak of the sneaker’s popularity circa 2015-16, elusive colorways from Miami and ASU were fueling the hype. Over the years we’ve seen college colors hit almost every model, but none quite hit like the 1.0s. As time moved on, so did the hype, with the Hurricanes Ultra BOOST 4.0 struggling to sell out at retailers back in 2018. But the slow decline in popularity of the sneaker was given a boost (how’s the pun!) by the release of yet another hard-to-come-by college release ate last year, with the Washington Huskies delivering a stellar 1.0, proving once again that the original is the best. adidas has listened to the masses, and is now delivering an octet of options for eight of their partnering universities — and this time it appears that they’ll be much easier to attain.

Options include Kansas, Miami U, ASU, Washington, Indiana, Texas A&M, Louisville, and Nebraska, all of which don their respective college colors. Uppers arrive in solid color, with tonal variations throughout the eave providing the knit’s only contrast. Each option matches their respective knit color on the BOOST midsole, with a black or white Continental rubber outsole resting beneath. Three Stripes and heel clip branding appears in complimentary college colors, and each pair is complete with interchangeable adidas or college-branded Velcro tongue patches.

Scroll further down to peep a look at each version, and look for all eight options to drop right here on adidas.com on September 4th for $180 a pop. If you are planning on picking up a pair on the day, make sure you head over to our dedicated adidas Release Dates Calendar to set yourself a reminder for the drop!
