The adidas Adizero Evo SL has undergone a handful of changes since debuting to market in October 2024. For its latest redesign (which will surely be its last before the appearance of the Evo SL 2), the popular running shoe has gone laceless.

Aptly named the Adizero Evo SL Laceless, the modified silhouette has already begun making rounds across retail channels overseas. As with the numerous takes that've come before it—including the Evo SL Zip—the same industry-pushing performance elements inspired by the Adios Pro Evo 1 reprise their roles on the Laceless version: torsional nylon plate, full-length LIGHTSTRIKE PRO foam midsole, lightweight upper.

The trainer's top-half, however, received an adidas TECHFIT update that brings thin, but functional synthetic overlays across the upper to deliver an adaptive and supportive fit without laces.

The Evo SL Laceless redesign falls in line with the Evo SL EXO, another modified version of the adidas Adizero Running model that employs a sort of exo-skeleton to update the containment provided by the silhouette. The TECHFIT setup found on the Laceless design wraps around the entirety of the shoe, ensuring the foot is cradled within its parameters. A slip-on construction features a sock-like "tongue" and stretchy center—a design proposal that the Three Stripes has been fine-tuning within laceless editions of its F50 and Predator football boot franchises.

Underfoot, Continental™ rubber rounds out the redesign, providing the same reliable grip that it has on other versions of the beloved training shoe.
