Anthony Edwards’ sophomore signature sneaker might be one of the most anticipated basketball releases in years, with his debut AE 1 making an instant impact both on and off the court. But the Timberwolves star isn’t stopping at performance footwear — Spring 2026 will also see him step into lifestyle territory with two special takes on the iconic Adidas Superstar.

This off-court capsule delivers contrasting concepts. The first pair arrives with a shimmering, iridescent glitter finish across its upper, giving the classic shell-toe a bold, eye-catching refresh. The second adopts a more textured look, dressing its panels in faux crocodile skin with vibrant colored accents that shift from green to blue. Both pairs retain the Superstar’s timeless black sole, toe cap, and Three Stripe detailing, while a custom metallic hangtag adds a signature touch.

At this stage, only CAD renderings have been revealed, and the final retail pairs may feature slight adjustments in materials or finishes. Still, the early look suggests a distinct personality in each design, signaling Edwards’ interest in branching his footwear portfolio beyond the hardwood.

The Anthony Edwards x Adidas Superstar Collection is expected to release in Spring 2026 through Adidas.com and select retailers. Pricing and sizing details have yet to be confirmed.
