Arsenal & Adidas Revisit 1992 for Home Jersey Bring-Back Collection
Mikel Arteta's Arsenal Football Club are on top of the world at the moment. While it's still too early to tell whether or not this season will finally see the English side lift up silverware domestically and across Europe, the North London club has already won off-the-pitch thanks to its partnership with Adidas.
The latest effort from the storied collaboration sees a proper retro of Arsenal's Home Jersey from 1992-94. Often remembered for its JVC sponsorship on the front, as well as numerous bangers by Ian Wright, the shirt harkens back to a fond time between the Three Stripes and "Gunners." Careful consideration was taken for the bring-back, ensuring its materials, weight, and finish could be mistaken for a 30-year-old original.
Off-the-pitch, North London's red-donning side continues to impress supporters and casuals alike with its variety of branded products. The club's official kit and gear manufacturer, Adidas, leads the charge, but Arsenal's in-house design team has also developed and launched numerous collections rooted in heritage. For its next endeavor, it seems the "Gunners'" creative department have tapped A-COLD-WALL* for a collaborative project.
Campaign photography for the jersey features Write alongside members of Arsenal's Men and Women squads. Adidas Originals also joined the mix, developing a special Gazelle for the occasion.
Other items included in the heritage-inspired launch are a graphic t-shirt donning the English club's old crest, Equipment-branded hooded sweater, and elevated sweatpants.
Enjoy a full set of visuals for the collaboration ahead. All products are currently available via Adidas.com. Pricing ranges from $50 to $110.
