It’s now apparent that Japanese retailers atmos and their “Animal Pack” ZX Alkynewon’t be a solo release. Rarely does the footwear icon offer up just a solo drop, this time around adding the widely regarded ZX 8000 into the mix. Like the Alkyne, it arrives in a mix of animal prints ranging from zebra to tiger and cheetah, set against bone snakeskin overlays, and orange and black detail. The latter arrives across the tongue tags, profile stripes, and rear caging, with flecked midsoles bringing in a new element to the pack. Gum rubber outsoles are consistent with the pack’s thematic, and the pair is capped off with three sets of laces, and co-branding on the insoles.
You can grab a detailed look at the collaboration here below, and if you’re in Japan on August 1st, you can pick up pairs both in-store and online at atmos-tokyo.com — but if you’re outside the island country you’ll have to wait for further details on a wider drop, though pairs will likely pop up on the likes of StockX and GOATin the coming days.
