Benito Martínez Ocasio—best known globally as "Bad Bunny"—is currently treating the island-nation of Puerto Rico to an unprecedented residency for inspired by his sixth studio album, DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS. On a world scale, the artist's Adidas Originals partnership has allowed him to share his home country with parts of the globe that might've been completely unaware of Puerto Rico. The "City Series" Gazelle Indoor collaboration has highlighted cities across the island, with the latest shining the light on Benito's hometown, Vega Baja.
Located almost 30 miles west of the island's capital of San Juan, Vega Baja saw Bad Bunny's formative years. The town and municipality is known for its fertile plains and beaches, which likely inspired the unreleased Gazelle's yellow-and-green color scheme. The pair is currently on display at The Archive: Puerto Rico Para El Mundo exhibit hosted by the Museo de Arte de Puerto Rico. The "Vega Baja" style is joined by other "City Series" offerings—released and prototypes—inspired by El Yunque, Santruce, Cabjo Rojo, and Ponce.
Enjoy a closer-look at the special Gazelle Indoor collection ahead. Firm Adidas.com release details for the latest pair have yet to be confirmed by the Three Stripes.
