Adidas is going all-in on the Superstar for 2025.
The Three Stripes have already lined up collaborations with heavyweights CLOT and Wales Bonner, while their latest campaign taps Samuel L. Jackson for a campaign chronicling the model’s cultural legacy. Now, they’ve tapped Tokyo-based retailer BEAMS for a two-pair collab that leans into subtlety with a clever twist.
As the headline suggests, the BEAMS x Adidas Superstar II features a reworked shell toe, with the BEAMS name integrated directly into the rubber. It’s more than just a logo placement—it’s a fresh spin on the shoe’s most defining design element.

To keep the focus on that modification, the collab sticks to two essential colorways: black/white and white/black. Both pairs arrive on the Superstar II silhouette, the slightly bulkier version of the classic that rose to prominence in the 1990s. Key features include a padded tongue, wider fit, and chunkier midsole—not quite as exaggerated as the Superstar 92, but still a noticeable change from the OG.
The BEAMS x Adidas Superstar II will release first through BEAMS on July 4th, followed by a wider drop via select retailers on July 10th. Retail is set at $130.
