adidas’ love for Japanese talent has been strong of late, having already teamed up with Nippon icons in Hender Scheme and White Mountaineering on a handful of projects earlier this year. Now you can add another, with the Three Stipes now tapping BED J.W. FORD for a three-piece footwear pack.
Each pair arrives in tonal black, and each arrive with altered uppers. The Kamanda now arrive with a new, almost dart-like profile, thanks to its extended sock-like collar riding down to a point at the midfoot, seemingly taped together with “TOKYO CULTURE NATIVE” medial-branding. The Crazy BYW follows quite close in the mid-top cut and material execution, forgoing its traditional look with a fitting “BED J.W. FORD” type sign off. And the revived Korsika shows off an aesthetic quite contradictory with a more formal Moc toe pairing seamlessly with toggles at the heel and sock lining.
