Beyoncé’s Debut Ivy Park x adidas Sneaker Releases Jan. 18th

Even though Beyoncé has been the epitome of celebrity influence, the singer, fashionista, and style goddess has never really held a fixed sneaker deal. Perhaps it was never quite the right time or fit for the former Destiny’s Child frontwoman, but when news broke of her adidas signing back in April, it all felt right. It was a huge coup for the Thee Stripes, who now has three of the most influential females in the fashion world under their banner; B, Selena Gomez and, by way of Kanye West, Kim Kardashian.

Beyoncé’s debut collection has supposedly been in the works for some time, and yesterday the Queen herself shared a very first teaser at her Ivy Park capsule’s footwear offering; an imaginative interpretation of the iconic Samba silhouette. The soccer training shoe is revamped into a platform-soled streetwear sneaker, utilizing premium leathers, supple suede toe overlays and a classic white, maroon and gum palate. Subtle embellishments like tonal tongue branding, ribbed tongues, and stylish weaving rope lacestays add some extra intrigue to the well-crafted silhouette, while a pop of orange piping around the sole unit adds the perfect amount of color contrast to complete the pair.

The Beyoncé x adidas Ivy Park Collection yet to be revealed in its entirety, but the unsurprisingly seductive imagery and the sneaker did arrive with a confirmed release date for January 18th — a perfect way to kick off proceedings for adidas’ 2020 campaign. Take in a quick look at the shots below, and keep it locked on HOUSE OF HEAT for further updates as we draw closer to release day.
