The partnership between Adidas and Edison Chen’s CLOT continues to gain steam. The duo has now revealed their next effort: the CLOT Adidas Superstar “Chinese New Year,” accompanied by a premium apparel collection.
This celebratory design incorporates fire-red tassels into the Superstar silhouette, adding a bold, festive touch for the Lunar New Year. The tassels are complemented by gilded details throughout the upper, set against a mix of croc leather, sheer synthetics, and suede for a dynamic texture. Departing from past patent leather iterations, this edition emphasizes a more traditional aesthetic. Signature features like the Superstar’s iconic shell toe and the ridged “ripple sole” remain, tying the design to the recent hallmarks of the CLOT Adidas collaboration.
The release doesn’t stop at footwear. The Superstar will debut alongside a premium black-on-black tracksuit, a graphic-sleeved long-sleeve T-shirt, and gilded socks, offering fans a head-to-toe Lunar New Year look.
The collection will launch first at Juicestore on January 10th, with a wider global release at select retailers following on January 16th.
