Edison Chen Taps BAPE®︎ for Another CLOT Adidas Superstar Collab

Edison Chen's creative output over the last 25 years has spanned numerous categories and collaborators. Since joining Adidas Originals in late 2023, the CLOT-frontman has launched a handful of collections that speak to his current sensibilities while continuing to bridge East and West. His next project—which revisits the Superstar—taps none other than A BATHING APE® (BAPE®︎) for assistance.

Similar to a Friends & Family-exclusive "shell-toe" gifted in ultra-limited quantities during ComplexCon Las Vegas, the newly-surfaced style opts for an "Off White/Branch/Olive Cargo" color scheme instead of a predominantly "Core Black" one. The elevated take on the 55-year-old silhouette maintains its co-branding details (i.e. STA™ logos, debossed emblems) as well as dress shoe-inspired sole units. Camouflage patterns and special lace dubraes also join the mix, further adding an elegant touch to the three-way collaboration.

Its quite possible that the CLOT x BAPE®︎ x Adidas footwear style is accompanied by co-branded apparel and accessories that further allow Chen to create product for his current era. That, however, is yet to be seen.
