Nowadays, David Beckham serves as one of the faces of Major League Soccer's Inter Miami, but the English legend continues to represent the Three Stripes as one of its lifetime athletes. Before summer ends, the former footballer is set to release a pink, special edition of the Adidas Predator Elite FT FG and Predator Freestyle sneaker.

Athletes the likes of Jude Bellingham and Trent Alexander-Arnold are current faces of the Adidas Predator series, but Beckham was one of its most important co-signers throughout the late 1990s and 2000s. The former Manchester United player began wearing the boot franchise in '97, showcasing the benefit of the boots' STRIKESKIN technology with his impressive free kicks. Throughout much of his professional career, Beckham customized his pairs of the Predator line, oftentimes adding his children's names or national flags to the upper. Most boots, however, maintained their signature black, red, and white color scheme.

In 2012, "Becks" and his Adidas Football family took a chance at expanding the heritage line's aesthetic, debuting the Predator LZ in a pink, white, and black makeover.

The pair saw a limited release, but kick-started a color palette David Beckham and Adidas Football would revisit throughout the next decade. Boots and accompanying apparel items were denoted with a "DB" distinction, a detail that also appeared on items in various forms. The latest addition to the ongoing partnership between the 50-year-old and German sportswear institution doubles down on pink flair - all the more fitting now he's at the helm of Inter Miami.

All the bells-and-whistles that've made the Adidas Predator Elite FT FG one of the industry's most celebrated models reprise their roles: fold-over tongue, HYBRIDTOUCH, CONTROLFRAME 2.0, STRIKESKIN zones. Nods to Beckham appear on the aforementioned tongue and footbed. An eye-catching pink claims most real estate across the boot, but hits of silver and black interrupt the color execution via profile 3-Stripes, rubber striking elements, and other components throughout the upper.
